The Game Of Faith Is Impossible To Change Poem by Jacson Gelato

The Game Of Faith Is Impossible To Change

Man can change many things inlife
but man cannot change his religion
until and unless pressure mounts
and he is forced to succumb to the impossible.

Many lovers blinded by emotions
want to live as couples forever,
and though they differ in their faiths and beliefs,
they marry and make children
yet they teach them of divinity and prayers.

some choose never to marry
but they too impose their own religion on their children,
as everyone knows that love leads to God
and God is love, for certain.

Man holds on to his faith by generations.
yet time keeps playing its game by years
sometimes making men poor or rich
but his faith gives him limitless courage and grit.

Every time men feels burdened
he stands in a corner at a place of worship
and implores God to help him,
then he walks out in the broad daylight
with new inspirations and new confidence.

He succeeds in his aspiration for improvement
he pulls in income and increases his finances
he feels a satisfaction that leads to contentment
he attributes his success to his own prayers.

He feels indebted to God for His benevolence
he rushes back to that place of worship;
again on his knees he prays and thanks God
he realizes that among all the games he plays
the game of faith is impossible to change,
in his God, in his devotion he feels victorious always.
