The Game Poem by Aditya Sakariya

The Game

Look back, what did you put down?
Darkness, darkness all around,
Trust no one,
When you are so done.

He, did not say only light,
But anything that is bright.
Run that muscle to the core,
Make it spark on the floor.

See around, but don't think round,
Stay sharp to cut the closest found,
You will be challenged, not torn,
After every challenge get reborn.

Not every is cunning,
Not all are running,
Some are mirrors,
Some are stealers.

Stare at the letters,
Each will lead you to that may not shatters,
Find the poison,
That will show the one in prison.

Connect those dots,
Even though they aren't all plots,
Look at the unusual,
Don't trust the ordinary visual.

No, no, no, a smile is not to trust,
Dig hard on the one, before it burst,
One final clue for the crowd,
Solve it first and shout out loud.

A marathon that does not wait,
Get your eyes open before it's too late,
Don't let it drop you down in dismay,
Life's the game, let's play.
