The Future Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

The Future

The road ahead

I sit in my car
In a road, I don´t know the name of
Listening
To Fado Music
Waiting for my wife.
If I knew this
Fifty years ago
Sitting here
I would
Say, you are kidding me.
I see a big tree
In front me
It is going to fall
Come next storm.
It is a good thing
We can´t
Foresee the future.
