The Fruit Poem by Mac Adrone Adonay

The Fruit

In the soil we call life, you start to sow
The seed you have planted may rooted up
To become a tree bearing fruits of gap
Or may provide a vexation or foe
The water may reach its final drop
From the character in heart you carry,
You’re the one to tell what your seed might be
It can continue or proceed to stop
The question is what kind of fruit it’ll bear
Unto you, can be a benefit
Or an erring sound of your false profit?
Behind the curtains of burdens and care,
In all the ways of life to all uphill,
Does the seed you’ve sown the seed of evil?
