The Frontiers Poem by Raghurama Raju

The Frontiers

' Once my territory was upto this point! ' the sea roars!
The land just stays calm.
' Even upto this place my area extended! ' the sea shouts and pushes its waves towards the land.
The land carrying trees and mountains on its back does not even care to respond!
' Why don't you even open your mouth? ' the sea fumes and hurls its water high into the sky!
' If you believe you are right, why don't you stick to a place and claim your territory? ' the patient land replies at last.
People on the beach were busy picking sand grains off the wet bodies of their women!
