The Fight And The Race Poem by Cindy Wyatt

The Fight And The Race

The most exciting part of a fight
is when it is won
and the best part of a race
is when it is done
If you want to cross over
the finish line some day
you have to take off at the starting line
and in the race stay
If you want to win the battle
and wear the victor's crown
you have to stay vigilent in the fight
until the very last round

II Timothy 4: 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
4: 8: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
