The Eye Of Love Poem by Daryl Kang

The Eye Of Love

Her eyes glittered as I kneeled down,
My hands in my pocket my hand on my crown,
And I asked her the 3 love cues,
She laugh and smiled and said I do.

Her eyes with boredom as I sat down.
Her face all bored creating a frown.
Take out the dog to get some air
She took out a cigarette and smoked on the chair.

Her eyes with anger and spite and hate.
As I entered the door weary and late
She extracted her anger with a beer by her hand.
I had it! Now look who's the man!

I dashed to the kitchen sink
And picked up that grey shiny thing,
As I began to edge towards 'dear'
I remember her eyes were blank and queer.
