we were together
in school
and we finished
so well

he started a career
and business that
really went well

he got rich and
influential but i
did not do as much
as him

i wish i were like
him: both in glory
richness and fame

years and years
i worked that hard too
until i felt that
i have equaled him

and one day i called
thru phone got an answer
from someone who said
that he had already died
and so i sighed.
