The End Time’s Near

Rating: 5.0

With end times just around the bend
Harassment’s ever near
Freedom of speech will shortly end
And bring about much fear

For persecution will begin
Hunters will wear a crown
Righteous numbers will wax so thin
With church life closing down

Secret places will doubtless thrive
Many will run and hide
Others who’ll seek to stay alive
Will cast their faith aside

When Satan’s mark parades the land
Visible to the eye
On choosing brow or back of hand
Many of us will die

Hunger will ravage everywhere
Denouncements will be rife
For daily bread will grow so rare
And cheap will be our life

For this and more we must prepare
Standing our Saviour true
Living dying for Heaven’s share
In Truth we must pursue

Soon Jesus’ Cloud we’ll see on high
Trumpets will sing life’s song
But woe to those who’s lamp’s grown dry
Who’s faith is far from strong

Best forfeit all for Heaven now
Consider life’s true Way
Seek out salvation as you bow
Through Jesus Christ today
