The End Poem by Giovanna Marasco

The End

Rating: 5.0

Our ever-lasting love
Finally has ended,
Our day has come and gone
And I am left alone.

With no more than my thoughts
And memories of you.
How much could have changed
With time, since then and now?

Our love once grew and blossomed
In the shade of thumping hearts,
Watered by our hopes,
And sheltered by our dreams.

What once was oh so pure,
Has been crippled after years,
Of being trampled under soles
Of those who did not know,
The way that we both felt.
