The End Poem by Sarah Reamey

The End

She covers the bruises on her every night and day.
Whenever someone asks her about it, she just walks away.
She sits quietly, afraid that she's going to do something wrong,
She believed that he was the only one who cared all along.
Many noticed, but very few asked. She always seemed so happy no one could hear the fake laughs.
She desides that she's had enough and that she's going to leave.
He said 'wait a second baby, just listen to me'
He tells her it will be alright, that he knows he can change.
That if she would stay with him nothing would be the same.
She was beautiful, she was smart, she was sweet, and had a big heart.
But she never saw any of this, no.
He always told her she was ugly, she was fat, that he was the only man who wanted her, and that was the only thing she had come to know.
Her tears fell more as the pain grew worse, She couldn't see why se deserved such a curse.
He said 'my god, you'll never learn, just do as I say and you'll be safe in return. Im the only one who wants you, even though your too ugly for me. I'm the one who needs to be set free! '
He hit her once more, as she fell to the ground. She just layed there frozen in fear. She then realized that the end would soon near.
As he walked away, she stood on her feet, shot the gun and then called the police.
