The Emerald Sea Poem by Paul Warren

The Emerald Sea

Rating: 5.0

The boat plied along on an emerald sea
The only noise the lapping so gently
The white sail set by a puff of breeze
As our love's gentle sigh would please

You trailed your hand in the sea
And the gulls wheeled as we could see
I told a joke and you loudly laughed
A perfect day again we wished would last.
