The Elephant's Cry Poem by Rohan Bendre

The Elephant's Cry

Greetings Everyone
Today is my day.
Should I Rephrase? .
Is my day Really Today? .
Who am I? .
I am the Enormous Elephant.
And Today is my day.
But Once Again I Question Your Celebrations.
Yes I Will
Why Won't I? .
Shouldn't You ask.
Why Shouldn't I? .
The People have Prioritized their Entertainment over my Torment.
Little do they Know their Active Participation in Entertainment is as Good as Torment.
The Wild is Where I Belong.
If Entertainment is your Solemn Priority.
How about Ensuring me a Better Life by Informing the Concerned Authority.
Sometimes For Religion
Sometimes For Pleasure.
Sometimes For Entertainment.
What I Received is only Terrific Torment.
What Life do I live? .
Don't we Like to Enjoy our Lives Among the Herd? .
But When Entertainment Gains Prioritization
Our Plight refrains to get Active Realization.
Whether I am African or an Asian
Against us don't People have Bad Intentions.
To My Plight
Is Someone Free? .
Or Am I Barking the Wrong Tree? .
Several Ways to Save me Exist.
Against the Animal Abusers Show up your Fist.
Ensure you Interrupt Whenever You Witness an Animal in Trouble.
In this way Assure the Impact is Double.
Always Ensure all the Contact Numbers are with you.
In Such a Way Give a Valiant answer to the Brutal View.
Always Bring up the Exploitation to the People's Attention
In Such a Way Explain that Equivalent to the Abuser is your Participation.
Instead of Entertaining Yourself Ensure that the Poor Animal gets Medical Attention.
When the Pain Endured by The Poor Animal will gain Realization.
Then Won't The Picture Witness Jubiliant Justification.
REFRAIN FROM PARTICIPATING IN ANY ACTIVITY WHICH HARMS ANIMALS.

HAPPY ELEPHANT DAY
