The Dog Is Dead (Grammar Corrected)
the dog he
gave us
was fed & well
groomed
how can we
tell him that it
died
ran-over by a
Volkswagen in
the street
of the subdivision?
our house is fenced
but it found a way toward
the street
in the middle of the
street it stopped there
and laid its body flat
looking towards the
sea
even dogs know what missing
is and how sometimes it leads
to a casualty
