The Death That Never Was Poem by Timothy Long

The Death That Never Was

The eyes close as the soul disappears, I'm sorry its gone but what was it? We can't choose how we die, but what we can choose how we are remembered, what a senseless joy life is, I am sinking, I want to drown but live all the same, some will say its the same just to wait, death can come to those that call its name, but where's life the mistress making us suffer, needing acknowledgement as none was there, seeing a world of wonder, my nervousness is the sinicite of my death, I hope you can get through it, not many of us can, why must my tears be the one spilling, why must my tears be the one's spent, why is my blood split, am I even human or an emotional robot, when to disappear, its ok to go away, drowning in the sea of troubles, without a light we all go, on the contrary, dying is easy, relax it won't hurt, goodbye if we meet, does nobody understand, go away I'm alright.
