The Cross
'A cross to bear, ' as the saying goes,
a good way to look at all of our woes,
I think of a man who paid the ultimate price,
and saved us from our sins-we must now think twice.
How can we ever repay such a life-laden debt,
if we are not ready to repent just yet?
We need that cross to remind us all
that in the end-we won't take the fall.
