The Collared Dove Poem by Margaret O Driscoll

The Collared Dove

Rating: 5.0

Walking along in a light shower
In a quiet spot, for peace to seek
Flying overhead by the trees
A collared dove, a twig in it's beak

I see it as a sign of peace
It places the twig on it's nest
Contented cooing of the doves
I'm no longer feeling stressed
