BY NALAN Rongruo Tr. By East Sea Fairy
The kingfisher I'm talking about
is the one died for me in my childhood.
The deep and serene cave
by the pool in my hometown
is her grave.
I've wandered for many years in place of her
However I can't speak fluent bird speech
so as to capture the heart of another blossom,
make it willing to bear boy-and-girl twin bird eggs for me
As a man who continues a bird'life
I seemingly live in another world.
