i saw a bear
not just any ordinary bear
a bear wearing polka dotted underwear
he was so suprised when i arrived
he had a heart attack and the poor thing died

I absolutely loved this poem. It is so funny. It reminds me so much of some of the poems written by a poet named Edward Lear. Looking forward to more poetry from you.

I think this shows a nice transition from the simple rhyming of young child's poetry to concerns about metre and cadence. Sounds like you will follow in your grandmother's footsteps! Super!

Typical nature trail. Warns humans about bears, not vice versa. So narrow minded.
