The Average Morning Poem by Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

The Average Morning

I step into the shower to scrub away the dirtiness of life
I wash my face to flush away the memories
I brush my hair to untangle the lies
I cover up my face with make-up to hide my expressions
I clean my teeth, so my life is at least a little white
I get dressed to hide my flaws
I slip on some shoes to chase away time
And I put jewelry on to sparkle up the day that’s going to be ahead of me
