He latches the gate, and closes the doir,
so those who don't visit, can visit no more!
He sits in a pout, and turns off the phone,
so those who don't call, can just leave him alone!
He mumbles and grumbles through all of his days,
forgetting the phone and the gate work both ways.
tricky poem with multiple interpretation, door and phone are our link to the others world, the cause for loneliness here could be reasonable, and it will stay as an open question to the wise reader, well done and thanks for this master piece of work, it deserves 5 stars
