That Friend Poem by julio anzueto

That Friend

friendless i was untill she came in a white dress,
she helped me get rid of stress,
she had me up in the sky
if it'd been up to me i'd taken her as my bride.
but the pleausre of having her
couldn't never last long enough
for once the lighter's flame stroke her white dress,
she seem to run away from me
she hid her run behind a smoke wall.
mary was just another friend that left me,
after lying to me and giving me fake feelings of security,
she left and left me again, hopeless.
