Thanksgiving Poem by Vizo Meyase

Thanksgiving

Rating: 3.5

Day passed by, a new evening appears
My feelings grow sore at times...
Yet I spent moments with friends;
Happy memories hail inside, to delight.

Daytime, sun in the far sky shine
Like never it did before, in days...
And my heart fills with warmth joy
Together, with my friend’s company.

At night, lying on my bed...
I see the pale moon turning yellowish
My friends; some on magazines and books
One as Romeo, as soft on the phone...

Along, I gazed outside, staring...
From the inside room, through the window
I wondered my thoughts in the wild,
Where the silent night of the natures breezes.

I closed my eyes, to a pleased breathe...
And I prayed, I realized I am blessed
I thank Thee: for the peaceful love around;
And for this amazing moment of miracle.
