Thanksgiving

Thank God for riches life and health
For grace through Christ on high
Salvation and Spiritual wealth
No purse could ever buy

For blessings still the world unknown
For open ears and eyes
For gathering beneath His throne
Above the worldly wise

For walking with us hand in hand
Through valley death and woe
For nurturing to understand
When through life’s trials we go

Thank God for hill and mountain crest
For tears, life’s deep dark vales
For hope, for faith so richly blessed
For storms and icy gales

We thank You for love’s patients Lord
For bread for meat and wine
For treasure night and day outpoured
Through Christ Your Lamb divine

For talents royal each saintly gift
Bestowed through Christ our King
Through which Your name we eagerly lift
Through heartfelt songs we sing

For hope and faith of Heaven’s rest
Innocence as a dove
To overcome each trial and test
Your strength and precious love

Thank God for Christ choosing to die
For Calvary’s awesome tree
For severing each evil tie
And saving such as me
