Thank you, Lord
For everything
From the simple quiet moments
To the Giant slide and swing
From the enjoyment of lightning bugs
Or learning to make an artistic ring
From winter's cold frost
To the beautiful flowers in spring
From shocking noise of thunder
To hearing the cardinal sing
Thank you, Lord
For everything
For all the happy moments of the past
Or what surprises the future brings
The learning failure taught
And the fulfilling of many dreams
For the blackness of the night
And the leaves that are so green
For scripture that speaks to us
And understanding what it means
Thank you, Lord
