Thank You
I thank you for all the sleepless nights
I thank you for all the stupid fights
Thank you from the bottom of the hole in the chest where my heart used to be
Thank you for making me realize the love of your life was never meant to be me
I thank you for all the times you made me smile
I thank you for being the one for a while
Thank you for all the memories I will always cherish that'll soon turn bittersweet
Thank you for making me see that I will always get back on my feet
I thank you for being my almost lover
I thank you for all the things I discovered
Thank you from the broken soul that thought it had found its other half
Thank you for all the things you said and did that made me laugh
I thank you for another hopeless dream scattered
I thank you for all the wisdom that I gathered
Thank you for breaking me down to make me stronger than ever before
Thank you for making me think like no one was ever keeping the score
I thank you for making me feel so wanted
I thank you for all the times I felt haunted
Thank you from the deepest corner of my mind where you used to live
Thank you for opening my eyes to everything I still have to give
I thank you for each and every day
I thank you for going your own way
