Teen Girl Image Poem by Riley Choma

Teen Girl Image

They’re head-to-toe confidence.

Introducing modern beauty; skinny, pretty, girl.

Size zero friends define my body as fat and massive; they see a size - not a human.

You want to be the biggest winner, not the biggest loser.

Looks don’t define me; why judge my body just because i’m not skinny?

When you feel pretty, it is easy to be confident.

Social networking and teasing meticulously make for cheap thrills.

People making fun of other’s looks break thoughts everyday.

This look broke individualism.

Repair damage, use tolerance.

You should be exactly who you are, who you want to be.

If you’re ever lucky enough to be different from everybody else, don’t change to be the same, because pretty seventeen, sometimes eating is brave.
