Hearts eternal flame races into the pits of my stomach
Churning and mixing my emotions
Until the once placid logical frame becomes void
Chaos’s frozen fear whips through me
As a jagged knifes edge through your soul

All hopes and dreams are diminished by love’s cruel kiss
A kiss of fatality from the battered soul’s lustful games
Save me from the pureness of hope
Deliver me from my dreams
Let them stray into the tomb of forgetfulness
Nevermore to roam inside

Fallen tears echo down life’s corridor
To roam as a lost spirit trapped in purgatory
My tears will be no more
Windows fogged up never to see the same again
I live life in a blur of reality

Majestic spells of love dance about me
Deafen by lies and deceit I’m off cue
Rhythmic remembrance flows through my mind
Icy cold lava pumps frantically through my veins
Moving my soul to dance to a beat
A muted beat of hope
Abstract visions of dreams flow through my mind
As I come to find my cage of refuge
I find my tears
