Tangled Webs Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Tangled Webs

My what tangled webs we weave
and what lies we must tell.
Why must you drag me
Though the depths of your hell?
Only time will really show
All the damage that was done
You may have succeeded in some battles,
But the war I have won.
I'll dust off the dirt,
And clean the blood off the floor.
But I will never have to care
About you anymore.

I am finally free
And I can finally breathe.
I'll take all the tangled webs
If that means you finally leave.
