Tan Girl Poem by Sean Furlong

Tan Girl

Tanned girl with spectacles that shine
Brown hair and a face aged well with time
A cute bikini worn,
white with flowers light blue
With your parents unshorn
despite boys glancing at you

Coy and relaxed
you drink diet coke in a cozy
while your skin gets rosey
Symphonies of bliss play to your ears
from your ipod held close to you so dear

You take off your sunglasses
revealing eyes of billiance
You wait as the time passes
until your eyes become tense

Maybe soon
you can meet me by the pool
Don't be a prune
Soak in the water and keep cool.
