Lots of humans do often ask
About the tuft atop each ear.
Is this hair for show or for task?
Maybe help hearing in some way,
Or help me detect things above.
Possibilities - who can say?
I just know the tufts are part of
The makeup of my body that
Others can look at me and see
When I show in my habitat.
Why the tufts are there - don't ask me!
