Taking In The Sights Poem by Laquory Jones

Someone once told me to "Always take in the sights"
That's the main point in life and do whatever it takes to survive
That might be the reason why at night I always come alive
My only aim is the sky I'm gonna soar No doubt I'll fly
Because I can achieve anything I want to in Life I believe it's truly
So It's important to keep everything in the Optics (Oh)
In my dreams I catch myself hurdling over obstacles
Just another chapter in "Richie's Chronicles"
Stacking thoughts as if they were Lego pieces
Not knowing that's how I became "Bionicle"
But I'll tell you what is really tragic (no?)

It was when I was at an younger age people had me
Convinced that my thoughts was illogical They laughed
Teachers even thought of them as comical So even now
I try to let my knowledge sow hoping that my brain will
Grow letting the kinetic energies overflow
Just for one chance to let them show
So I'm holding the doubters accountable
Letting them know that they're responsible
Of me doing the impossible now my success is probable
(Ready, get set, Ok Richie all systems go)

I can't tell you the amounts of tears I've cried
I've been prone to bottle up everything inside
Sparking the matches of a pen on sight
It's true that I've been wounded in Life but the
Trick is to never give up the fight let the loose
Leaf ignite until the fanning flame excites the
Vision in everyone's eyes I just want people to
Know what it feels like to fly now close your eyes
And Imagine that you're taking flight go ahead
And dim your lights now ask yourself will you do
Anything and everything to survive
Now are you really taking in the sights
