Take Pride In Yourself Poem by Maranda Kuhl

Take Pride In Yourself

Rating: 5.0

What if I want to walk alone, shouldn't you let me? What if I am not able to keep you safe from danger when I myself am in danger of my own mind. You tell me not to speak of what is happening, but I tell you now that you cannot keep me quiet. This is my battle and my fight I will not be silenced by the people who think my battle is worthless. I will speak for everyone who does not have a voice, I will speak for those who do not have the courage to speak for themselves. We will win our fights and we will take pride in that.
