Take Me Here Poem by Amy Stuart

Take Me Here

Where nothing has ever happened here, therefor there can't be history
Where any sound other than your own respiration is but a mystery
Where even the rocks themselves prove just to be distractions
Where the nauseating haze clouds yesterdays actions
-Lost in fog, light up the sky-
-Help me to forget you and I-
Where nobody is there so you've nothing to prove
Where nobody asks you why your pockets seem to move
Where the road seems endless yet you still choose to walk alone
Where you've left everybody so far behind there's just no need to atone
-Lost in fog, light up the sky-
-Help me to forget you and I-
Where in every direction is a place that's the same, worthy to discover
Where hope doesn't seem impossible, there's time left to recover
Where minimalism is beautiful in spite of the passionless
Where you block out desires of his silent, soft caress
-Lost in fog, light up the sky-
-Help me to forget you and I-
