The longing to have someone
To take me away
Far, far away, take me to a place
I haven't been, to a country I haven't seen

The desire, the need to be taken away
It's not like I wanted to stay
Yes, I am afraid, afraid of not being taken away
I've been responsible all my life
It's got me into strife

Take me away so I dont have to be anything but me
You will see the shining of me
If you can see past those trees

My life has led me to a strange place, different race
I still have grace but need a place to fully grow
Take me away to that place
Feel like I am losing this race

Looking forward to starting anew
Please, take me away!
