Taiwan Winter Poem by U Win Kyi

Taiwan winter
so chill and rigor.
People bath with hot water
from gas-heater.
The burning gas produces carbon-monoxide
a lethal gas to human life.
CO is odorless and colorless.
It can take away the last breath.
Some people close all windows while bathing
thus trapping the CO from gas-burning,
and thus turning the room into CO gas chamber,
putting life in absolute danger.
Some people were found unconscious.
Some were found already dead.
The people are asked to place the heater outside the house,
so that, into the air, CO disperses out.
Beware of CO poisoning....an invisible silent killer
in chilly cold winter.
Taiwan winter
causes many deaths every year,
Really tragic indeed.
Hoping not to repeat.
