(ke bolechhe tomaie bondhu eto duskho soite)
Who told you my friend to bear such pain
Why did you volunteer to carry my load
As Soul-friend, Heart-friend
Friend of glad and sadness
I won’t give you pain, won’t get any pain
I’ll stay looking at your happy expression
Friend, passing the glad and sad days
Be able to stay ever happy
Talking to you intimately without reason
