Symphony Of Souls Poem by Neha Kaushik

Symphony Of Souls

A dulcet euphony reverberating in the ambience,
Starlit darkness adding to the evening’s crepuscular charm,
Air aromatized by floral carpets,
shrouding the place with an aura of love,
Bringing to life his surreal thoughts for this much awaited day,
Everything embellished and decked to the best of her taste,
His perturbed soul waggled restlessly,
waiting for her on their rendezvous,
suddenly resting his eyes on a yonder silhouette,
and with its each step forward, his heart pulsated faster,
Rustle of her raiment, her fragrance flared up the smoldered feelings,
Her proximity enlivened him,
his proximity made her crimson,
Silence became the language of two souls uniting into one,
Two destinies merging into one,
melting down in each others arms,
oblivious to their surroundings,
Fervor never evinced in such a way,
voice quavering, rendering them speechless
and eyes became the conveyors,
Where words cease to have a meaning,
and an emollient caress said it all,
Dancing to the tunes of their hearts, savoring every moment,
And at the stroke of the midnight hour,
resounded the blissful symphony of their souls.
