Sydney And Jenna Poem by Michael J ORourke2

Sydney And Jenna

After the 'stations' we strolled the paths
Across from the grotto's healing baths
We later went to the 'observatory tower'
To take in views and rest for an hour

But you would have none of that scheme
No time now to 'muse or dream'
So you instead with a delightful 'nag'
'Hey, Big Mike, lets play freeze-tag'

I remember those eyes dancing with joy
The both of you laughing-brazen, yet coy
Rich and Kate were amused by all the fun
While both of you kept 'Big Mike' on the run

I tried 'the jukes'; I tried 'the wiggles'
You caught me with your infectious giggles
I suddenly 'froze'-suspended in time- to wit
Your voices echoed loudly, 'Big Mike, you're it'!
