Sweet Angelina Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Sweet Angelina

Angelina brings a ray of sunshine.
No-one has such a charming smile.
Many boys are more than friendly
Sweet love is in modern style.
Her telephone is ring-a-dinging,
Always a voice with an anxious call:
'Is Angelina coming out? '
'Is she ready for the Ball? '

But young boys come ~ young boys go!
There's only one for Angelina.
With ready wit in modern style
She pursues this schoolboy dreamer.
Now she has won his tender love
He is forever ring-a-dinging
And she is ready for the Ball...
Because with him, her heart is singing.
