Surprise Poem by Clara Keiper

Surprise

Rating: 5.0

In the corner of the room
Sits an empty cardboard box
I'm suppose to fill it up
with your sweat shirts
and your socks.

I can't wait to see your eyes
when you look inside and see
everything you left behind
including me
