As far as the eyes can see
It sees words tumbling
Out of your mouth
That has not come straight
From the heart
Crooked and coated
To suit its purpose
As deep as I dig
I still find the outer surface
Impenetrable.
I have to peel it
Layer by layer to see
The raw emotions
Uncooked underneath
I sigh upon hearing your
False intentions with a
Hidden smile on my lips
How much you try to hide
I see the truth visible in your eyes
