Sunshine Told Me Love Yourself Just As I Love My Own Shine. Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Sunshine Told Me Love Yourself Just As I Love My Own Shine.

Rating: 5.0

When i loved myself
I came to the realization
that God love me as i am.

I learned to be quite and still
and felt that life comes to me.

I came to see emotional pain
as a sign to check if i am in truth.

When i loved myself…
I learned to meet my own needs
without thinking that i am selfish.

I began to see the desires of my heart.
I felt feelings without a second thought.

When i do something amazing
i praised myself and felt
that i am a gift to the world.

….
You were ignorant and thought it pride when you loved yourself.

I am a flower. I cannot forget my scent.
I am colour.i cannot forget my
colourful wings shining in the gloriuous sun.

In my search for meanings I found myself.

I found innocence in passion
and light in darkness.

Sun told me love yourself
just as i love my own shine.

Hey, Tony! It makes me glad to see several new postings from you, but I have limited time this morning before leaving for work. What you tackle in this poem can be tricky for us to understand, but what you say affirms what Jesus teaches. The golden rule is Love others, treat others, as you love yourself. Which means, I am convinced, first seeing that God accepts and loves us just as we are, then passing on that love to others. Be blessed. Glen

You were ignorant and thought it pride when you loved yourself. Such true...In a point that how will you exist and share the love without even loving yourself? Thank you so much, dr. Tony for this very comforting poem...A highest 10!
