Sunshine Rays Poem by Tina Shields Kerr

Sunshine Rays

God the master
A yellow blaze
We fall towards
His burning rays…

Gravitate
Accelerate
Keep your speed
But miss the gate…

Freefall motion
Keep your curve
Zooming downward
Bend and swerve…

Avoid all contact
Just feel his love
Thermal anger
His boxing glove…

Tina, I rather like this though that boxing glove jars slightly with the cosmic theme. I do like how the rhymes don't deform the syntax and meaning. If you'd like, check out my new website: jeffersoncarterverse.com Let me know how you like it. Yrs, JC

Thank you JC.... I appreciate the feedback. The boxing glove seeks to remind us of the power of our universe :) I will check out your website!
