Sunset On The Bay Poem by Katherine H. Belle

Sunset On The Bay

Rating: 5.0

Crickets sing a symphony
as the sun slowly sets over the bay
the horizon is painted red
but it is not angry tonight
The small waves lick the dock
carefully, almost sensuously
as I slowly sip the wine
that has become one of my greatest friends
a thin trail of smoke
passes through my parted lips
and tonight,
like many a night before it
I am at at peace

A warm and lovely poem. The images you create are sweetly romantic and sensuously relaxing...awesome!
