Sunlight
Sunlight,
the life giving globe
that warms the fertile earth
in which seeds germinate and grow.
Sunlight,
the life force that controls
our world and us
with its rays of warmth.
Sunlight, that brightens up our waking day
putting a smile upon
all those in dismay.
Sunlight,
that something we all pray for
whenever we go away
for our holidays.
