Summer In Bloom Poem by David Boyce

Summer In Bloom

Summer in Bloom

The sun is shining
There are no clouds in sight
The newly born birds
Are all out in flight

The plants and the flowers
Are starting to bloom
The early morne birds
Start singing in tune

The trees become greener
As the sunlight soaks in
The grass becomes longer
Until the owner starts cutting

They all need their water
To help their flowers come out
They will need to soak it up
Before there's a drought
