Stunned Poem by Cherie Mort

Stunned

Rating: 2.5

Shock
My face feels frozen
Disbelief
My eyes read the four unboldened, plain words on the screen before me
Joy
A slow smile creeping up onto my face, opening my lips in a curtsy
Ecstasy
Screaming with glee at the thought of what family members will say
When they hear the words:

You have been accepted

A message only three hours young, and as pleasant as a breath of air
