Stranger Story Poem by Kalee Skriver

Stranger Story

As the sun reflects upon your face,
I can see there is something out of place.
Your lips are turned down, I know not why you frown.
You are beautiful and blessed, nothing short of the best,
Yet you think have failed this life.
Let me tell you a story, I promise it will not be boring,
Of a girl who, like you, once wallowed in strife.
She went through her days without any praise,
for the One who had given her breath.
Than one day it hit her, that her Lord would never quit her,
and now she shall never fear death.
