Stormy Nights Poem by Phil Soar

Stormy Nights

Cast you mind back, mother said
While you were tucked up in your bed
Where did you run to in the night
When storms gave you an awful fright
You'd lay beside, nice and warm
While we ride out the awful storm
And when it past you often said
'Do I have to return to bed? '
